Electrical Installation for a New Build or Renovation
• We work with the builder and/or home owner to review the electrical requirements based on the building plan
• We then discuss the actual types of appliances, powerpoints, switches, lights, floor heating (if applicable), position of TVs, etc
• A cost estimate if provided by us based on the agreed plan and fittings
• We then do the rough-in (normally done in multiple stages determined by progress of the builder and tiler)
• Next stage is the ‘fit-off’ where the electrical components are installed and tested
• Final stage is handover to the builder or home owner
Smoke Alarms
• Single (Mains powered with battery backup or battery only)
• Interconnected (multiple alarms are linked so all alarms are activated if any alarm is triggered)
• Smoke alarms are mandatory in many residences (especially rentals)
